Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko stated, "The country's energy system has undergone the largest attack in recent times," noting that "power outages occurred in several areas," while his ministry reported "widespread damage to the targeted energy facilities." The Ukrainian Hydropower Company reported that "a fire broke out at the Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Plant in Zaporizhia, the largest power plant in the country, following an explosion," confirming that "there is no risk of dam collapse, and the situation is under control."
