Brazilian player Vinicius Junior, a star of Real Madrid, faced a disgraceful incident during the match between his team and Osasuna. According to the Spanish channel "Movistar," Vinicius was met with chants and insults from the Osasuna fans during the match. The channel aired videos of fans chanting: "death to Vinicius." Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that La Liga will intervene after the incident is confirmed, and Osasuna will be fined financially, with possible restrictions on fan attendance in future matches. Notably, Vinicius scored two goals during the game and went to celebrate in front of the Osasuna fans in response to their chants against him. With this victory, Real Madrid increased their points to 72 at the top of the La Liga table, while Osasuna remained at 36 points in tenth place.
