At a time when he asserted that artificial intelligence is "the most destructive force in history," American billionaire Elon Musk decided to integrate his AI startup xAI into the social media platform X, which he owns, while also making it available as a standalone app. Musk stated in a post yesterday, Sunday, that the startup has launched its first AI model named "Grok," which became available on Friday to all X Premium subscribers, a premium service aimed at enhancing the quality of conversations on the platform.
Musk tweeted, "The @xAI Grok AI assistant will be provided as part of ? Premium+, so I recommend signing up for that. Just $16/month via web."
He also clarified that the startup's goal focuses on creating AI tools "that help humanity in its pursuit of understanding and knowledge," and Grok is designed to answer questions with a degree of intelligence. Additionally, he mentioned that the Grok model has real-time access to information via the X platform, which he claimed is a significant advantage over other models.
