Turkey: Tackling Inflation Requires a Patient Approach

Turkey's Vice President, Cevdet Yılmaz, revealed today, Tuesday, that government officials and entrepreneurs agreed in a meeting on the necessity of adopting a patient and continuous approach to combat the high inflation in the country. After the meeting, Yılmaz stated that it is important to reduce government spending, noting that the government's medium-term program will include structural reforms, alongside more flexible policies for companies to help them finance exports and production.
