Video: White House Spokesperson Ignores Question About Biden's Health

Following the recent gaffe made by U.S. President Joe Biden that stirred controversy among Americans in media and on social networks, White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre appeared as usual at her daily press conference. However, the young spokesperson seemed less than receptive to some questions.

When a journalist asked her how the Democratic president could convince voters that his mental, physical, and psychological health was fine, despite having mentioned a story about speaking recently with a deceased French president from 1996, she did not respond. Instead, the White House spokesperson turned her head to ignore the question, merely stating, "I don't want to engage in this strange dialogue," before giving the floor to other journalists.

This incident came after the president embarrassed himself again during a speech in Las Vegas two days prior, where he spoke about a meeting he had with the late French president François Mitterrand during a G7 event in 2021, despite Mitterrand having passed away in 1996—approximately 30 years ago—when he was actually referring to current president Emmanuel Macron.

That gaffe has once again highlighted other mistakes made by the 81-year-old president, who is running for a second term in the upcoming presidential elections, particularly as some of his voters have previously expressed concerns about his ability to fulfill his duties effectively over the next four years in the White House if he wins the election.
