The governor of the Kharkiv region, Oleksiy Sinehubov, reported on Monday that Russian forces killed two people and injured four others by targeting an educational facility in the Kharkiv area. The governor stated via the Telegram messaging app that "the Russian army targeted the village of Lukiantsi, near the Russian border, using a guided airstrike." Sinehubov added that "the four injured were taken to the hospital due to injuries sustained from the explosion and shrapnel." As Russia intensifies its strikes in the spring, the frequency of attacks on the Kharkiv region is increasing.
