The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that "Paris will provide more than 30 million euros (32.41 million dollars) to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) this year to support its operations amid the devastating war in Gaza." Foreign Ministry spokesman Christophe Louman told reporters, "We will provide our contributions while ensuring that UNRWA meets the necessary conditions to carry out its tasks in a spirit free from incitement to hatred and violence." It was not specified when the next payment to the agency would be disbursed. According to the usual quarterly schedule, the next tranche is expected to be disbursed in April.
