Lebanon has made a successful mark abroad as students from Rashaya Official Secondary School won the award for Best Arab Product of 2024 in Qatar, after previously securing the first place in Lebanon for Best Startup of 2023. The team representing the school presented a product using imaging and electronic sensing technology to assist visually impaired individuals in social integration. The working group, supervised by the school's director Rabi Khadr, consists of Mr. Shadi Daham in oversight and planning, and teacher Rodina Qassam for linguistic proofreading. The students involved are Patricia Saad, Jalnar Bahmad, Rachel Mahna, Sally Mahna, Makram Durgam, Nour Arabi, Wael Bahmad, Wael Saq'an, and Yusuf Mahmoud. The technical team is led by engineer Raad Al-Baradi, along with Ghaida Mahna and Dima Abu Ghosh, with assistance from Mounal Shadid, Suleiman Mahna, and Rabi Jabr.
