Osama Saad Receives Ambassador of Algeria

The Secretary-General of the "Nasirist Popular Organization," MP Osama Saad, welcomed the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Rashid Belabaki, in his office in Sidon. He was accompanied by the Minister Plenipotentiary at the embassy, Ben Sheikh Mohammed, Maher Hamza, and Ali Abdullah, in the presence of Saad's office director, Talal Arqdan, Secretary of the Central Committee of the organization Khaled Al-Kurdi, and members of the political secretariat, Musbah Al-Zein and Nasif Issa (Abu Jamal).

The meeting addressed developments in the Lebanese and Arab arenas, particularly in occupied Palestine. The attendees praised "the struggle of the Palestinian people and their steadfastness against the Zionist war machine, as well as the struggle of the Lebanese people, especially in Southern Lebanon." They also commended "Algeria's honorable positions regarding national issues, particularly the Palestinian cause." At the end of the meeting, Al-Kurdi presented a book to the Algerian ambassador titled "Sidon and the Western Alliances 1952-1959."
