The Israeli army opened heavy machine gun fire towards the forests adjacent to the towns of Ramya, Aita al-Shaab, and Al-Bustan from positions close to the Blue Line. Until this morning, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over the villages in the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the Litani River. The Israeli army continued to drop illumination bombs over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line in both the western and central sectors. Last midnight, Israeli warplanes attacked the outskirts of the town of Naqoura and Mount Labouna in a wooded area, igniting fires in ancient trees such as oaks, pines, and olives. This is not the first time the Israeli army has targeted the forests of Mount Labouna, which has burned more than two-thirds of its area since the beginning of the war, and is considered one of the largest forests in the south. Subsequently, the surroundings of the towns of Naqoura, Mount Labouna, Mount Al-Alam, Al-Ma'ra, and Ramya were subjected to intermittent artillery shelling.
