Mufti Jozou: Is This Weapon for Killing the Lebanese People?

The Mufti of Mount Lebanon, Sheikh Muhammad Ali Jozou, stated in a statement, "The obstructors, both living and dead, are the reason for the collapse, weakness, and degradation of the Lebanese system." He asked, "Who does this weapon belong to, which appeared in a large transport vehicle in Al-Khaldeh, leading to the death of two individuals? Why is there such a large quantity of weapons at this particular time, especially when there is no war with Israel after the signing of the maritime peace agreement for oil exploration, as announced by Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, at that time that there would be no more war with Israel?" He further questioned, "Is this weapon meant to ignite a war fueled by the Lebanese people, similar to what happened in Yemen, Iraq, and Syria? How can the Lebanese Army accept the presence of an Iranian army, receiving weapons from Iran in large quantities on Lebanese soil alongside the Lebanese Army? Who holds the party accountable for importing this weapon from Iran? And who is directly responsible for the crimes that have occurred in Lebanon, which have claimed the lives of major leaders?"

He added, "President Rafik Hariri was martyred by a massive amount of explosives placed by the party to kill him and those with him, after Lebanon had been experiencing prosperity and cultural advancement. Then, a crime occurred to push Lebanon back a hundred years or more, entangling it in conspiracies around it. Since that time, Lebanon has been completely subjected to Iranian arms, and the party's Secretary-General has stated that his sustenance and weaponry comes from Iran and that he is a one-hundred-percent Iranian party. What does Iran want from Lebanon, and is this weapon meant to kill the Lebanese people?"
