Jreissati on the Arrest of Al-Rashed: Enough Attacking the Remaining Dignity of the State

Former Minister Salim Jreissati wrote this evening in a post on his X account: "Enough attacking in these dire times what remains of the dignity of our state, as dangers surround it." He added, "The intent is to pounce on the leaders of our security apparatus, similar to what is currently happening with the Director General of State Security, simply because a detainee escaped from prison, while an investigation is ongoing under the supervision of judges we trust with both trivial and significant matters." He continued, "Settling personal scores and the frenzied and hired campaigns against this agency will not be beneficial in the presence of judges of this kind from my country." Jreissati concluded, "Especially since this very agency managed to recapture the detainee."
