The Pentagon has revealed that the United States, along with about 30 allied countries, has trained 118,000 Ukrainian soldiers, including 18,000 trained by the United States and 16,300 trained by Germany. Meanwhile, Republicans previously prevented the Senate from considering a White House request to allocate funds for Ukraine, Israel, and other needs, totaling $106 billion, of which $61 billion is earmarked for Ukraine. Republicans are demanding concessions from Democrats regarding a bill that seeks changes in the management of the U.S. southern border with Mexico in exchange for approving this aid, and the House of Representatives does not seem to be in a hurry to approve the aid package.
