Syrians Assault Citizen in Zgharta with Intent to Steal

A citizen, identified as "H.M," in his fifth decade of life, was subjected to theft by two unknown assailants near his home in the Al-Ghamiyah area of Zgharta. He was attacked with sharp tools and robbed of $300 in addition to his mobile phone. The perpetrators then fled the scene, and the injured man was transported by ambulance to Our Lady of Zgharta Hospital for treatment. As a result of the investigation, less than an hour later, the security forces managed to apprehend one of the suspects, identified as "A.M," while the other, "Y.M," fled to an unknown location. Both suspects are of Syrian nationality. The detained individual has been taken for interrogation under the supervision of the appropriate judiciary, while efforts are ongoing to locate and arrest the second suspect.
