President Nabih Berri extended his Christmas greetings to the Lebanese people, stating: "On the occasion of the Holy Christmas, despite the magnitude of pain and the widening wounds from the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem to the 'Baptism' site in the Gaza Strip and throughout the Palestinian geography, Christmas will remain a celebration of great joy, hope, and salvation, and a testimony to truth and reality from Palestine, the land of redemption, to all corners of the globe." President Berri concluded: "Congratulations to all Lebanese people and to the Christian communities on the birth of the Messenger of Love and the Good Word and the dawn of hope."
