Lukashenko: France Will Not Send Troops to Ukraine

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed his complete confidence that "France will not send its troops to Ukraine to defend the Kyiv regime," affirming that "all their talks about that are laughable." Lukashenko told reporters: "Are the French going to defend Ukraine? That's nonsense... just talk. No Frenchman will go there, and no one will protect them there." He added: "They are trying in their own way to scare us and Putin with statements that Belarus wants to enter the war and that Russia wants to assert its control over Europe... this is nonsense. We haven't discussed this issue, so we advise them: guys, don't do it!"
