Arab League: To Enhance Arab Cooperation in Blood Transfusion Services

The Arab League has called for enhancing Arab cooperation and exchanging expertise in blood transfusion services and its derivatives, in order to benefit from Arab experiences in this field. The statement clarified that one of the main objectives of the Arab Blood Transfusion Services Authority is "to stimulate voluntary blood donation, urging member states on the importance of providing necessary tests to ensure the safety and security of blood in Arab countries, and enhancing communication channels with global organizations and institutions specialized in blood transfusion and its derivatives."
