Ministerial sources told "Al-Liwaa" that the presentation of the losses caused by the war in the south at the governmental palace, before international officials, aimed to clarify the facts with numbers in front of the representatives of the countries. At the same time, the caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati declared the southern region to be agricultural disaster-stricken. This reality is expected to encourage more diplomatic efforts for de-escalation. Additionally, observant circles noted that any decision regarding the reconstruction of southern villages by any international or non-international donor remains unclear as long as the war continues. However, showcasing these realities now may pave the way for any future efforts, knowing that international officials believe Lebanon has been drawn into the war, specifically regarding the southern front, according to "Al-Liwaa."
