Visits by Director General of Civil Defense to Emergency Centers in Kesrouan and Metn

Director General of Civil Defense, Brigadier Raymond Kattar, visited the Civil Defense centers in the highlands of Kesrouan and Metn, where personnel are working continuously during the snowstorm hitting Lebanon to respond to calls from citizens and residents without any delay.

He met with the staff at the centers spread across the geographical area from Harajel to Kfarakkaab, passing through Kfardebian and Bskenta, emphasizing the "necessity of remaining in complete readiness to respond to rescue calls, particularly under the severe weather conditions during winter." This aligns with the directives of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Bassam Mawlawi, to ensure public safety.

He instructed the personnel on "the need to always embody integrity and enthusiasm, and to stand alongside citizens in all circumstances, as they are the safety valve that gives citizens a sense of reassurance in the darkest times and the toughest crises."
