Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Villages... and Hezbollah Responds to Israeli Drone

Israeli warplanes executed an airstrike around four o'clock this afternoon, targeting the northern outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shaab in the Bent Jbeil district with two missiles. Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of the border town of Ramiah adjacent to the blue line in the central sector, as well as the outskirts of Naqoura, Dahira, and Alama al-Shaab. In contrast, Hezbollah announced in a statement that it had intercepted "an Israeli drone in the skies over the border areas with occupied Palestine using appropriate weapons, forcing it to retreat back into occupied territory." In a second statement, Hezbollah announced that it targeted "the Jall al-'Aam site and the deployment of Israeli enemy soldiers behind it with 'Burkan' missiles, achieving direct hits." In another statement, Hezbollah declared it had targeted "the Rouisat al-'Aalam site in the occupied Kfarshouba hills with missile weapons, achieving a direct hit," as well as targeting the "Zabdin site in the occupied Shebaa Farms with missile weapons, achieving a direct hit."
