US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced on Wednesday that the ongoing attacks by the Yemeni Houthi group on commercial shipping routes in the Red Sea will have consequences, and that the US has made it clear to Iran that its support for the Houthis must stop. Blinken told reporters, "We have also repeatedly tried to clarify to Iran, as other countries have done, that the support it provides to the Houthis, especially in these actions, must cease."
