Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, emphasized today, Monday, during his chairing of a meeting for the Military Defense Council, that "the exceptional circumstances in the regional arena necessitate the armed forces to be at the highest levels of preparedness, vigilance, and readiness." The Kuwait Army stated in a statement that "the minister directed army leaders to swiftly overcome any obstacles that may hinder the implementation of military plans, programs, and strategies, and to take all necessary measures to ensure that army units carry out their missions and duties effectively."
The meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Defense headquarters, discussed future strategies and exchanged views on various issues related to the tasks and responsibilities assigned to all units of the Kuwait Army. The minister also urged leaders to cooperate among military sectors "to serve the homeland, protect it, and defend it in light of the current situations and conditions that require everyone to prioritize the country's supreme interest above all else."
