Syrian actor Mahmoud Nasr plays a role in his Ramadan series "Awlad Badia" that viewers are not accustomed to, as he embodies a character suffering from mental illnesses and disorders due to an agreement among his siblings to strip him of his inheritance rights from their father. He decides to consult a psychiatrist for treatment. Nasr shared a video clip as a promo for the series on his official social media page, showing him in the role of "Mukhtar al-Dabbagh," who makes a strong comeback after his treatment to seek revenge on his siblings, using the phrase: "I am Mukhtar, son of Aref al-Dabbagh, I have returned, it's time for reckoning." He also refuses to kill them because "the validity of that expires quickly."
Nasr commented on the video saying: "Mukhtar al-Dabbagh, Awlad Badia, Ramadan 2024, written by Ali Wajih and Yamen Hajli, and directed by Rasha Sharbatji." Followers reacted enthusiastically to the promo and Nasr's new character in the series, expressing their excitement for its airing in Ramadan.
