New Aid Arrives in Gaza

The Israeli army stated today, Friday, that "the first trucks carrying food aid entered the Gaza Strip yesterday, Thursday, through the newly opened northern crossing." This comes amid Israel's increased efforts to facilitate the entry of supplies, following growing pressures to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the region. The army mentioned that the trucks were inspected at the Kerem Shalom crossing before moving north to cross into the area.
