The President of the Lebanese Forces party, Samir Geagea, discussed with the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa, the latest developments in Lebanon and the region at Miarab, in the presence of embassy advisor Mustafa Mahrous, former minister and head of the party's external relations department Richard Kiyumjian, and Roge Rajeh.
Moussa described the meeting as "good and very important" and expressed his eagerness to meet with Dr. Geagea, stating that the Quintet Committee had resolved to gather various political forces to exchange opinions and ideas regarding what needs to be done in the upcoming period.
Emphasizing that the Quintet Committee is committed to helping Lebanon resolve the presidential vacuum issue, the Egyptian ambassador noted that he heard from the Lebanese Forces leader affirmations that he is also working towards this goal and wishes to achieve a positive outcome to facilitate this important task as soon as possible. He mentioned that in the coming period, he will meet with other political forces and blocs to discuss the same context, expressing hope to "receive from them a similar message to what I heard from Dr. Geagea, and God willing, the upcoming period holds good prospects for Lebanon."
