Russia: NATO Returns to Cold War Mentality After 75 Years Since Its Establishment

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated on Wednesday that "NATO has returned to a Cold War mentality as it celebrates its 75th anniversary this week." She told reporters, "Now, regarding relations with Russia, the alliance has reverted to Cold War conditions," adding that the anniversary of the alliance's founding is not a reason for celebration. Zakharova clarified that there is no place for the alliance in a "multipolar world," but it remains a focal point of Russian interest.
