After Hamas published a video of American-born Israeli prisoner Hirsch Goldberg Polin, in which he appealed for rescue after 201 days in captivity and criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Channel 12 aired an interview with the 25-year-old prisoner's parents. They stated: "We are concerned for his health and urge the Israeli government to resume negotiations for his release." They added: "We are worried about our son’s health, but we feel happy that he is still alive. We urge the parties involved in the negotiations to show courage and agree on a deal for the release of prisoners."
