In a "strange" Christmas greeting, former U.S. President Donald Trump wished several American figures, including current President Joe Biden, to "rot in hell." Trump posted multiple messages on the platform "Truth Social," where he attacked Biden, special counsel Jack Smith, and other politicians. He wrote: "Merry Christmas to everyone, including the scammer Joe Biden and the lunatic Jack Smith."
Trump also addressed world leaders, both "good and bad," stating, "But none are as evil and sick as the thugs inside our country who seek to destroy the once-great United States." He added, "I hope they rot in hell. Merry Christmas again."
A poll published by The New York Times, exactly one year before the U.S. presidential elections, indicated that the leading Republican candidate Donald Trump was ahead of the outgoing President Joe Biden in five out of six key states, with Biden's popularity declining among young voters and minorities.
