Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's press secretary, Serhiy Nikiforov, stated that the recent changes involving advisors in Zelensky's office aim to "improve" the office's operations. Nikiforov was quoted by the Ukrainian agency "RBC" saying that "the dismissal of Zelensky's advisors and assistants today aims to enhance the performance of the office staff." He confirmed that Zelensky expects similar efforts from other government bodies. Zelensky dismissed several advisors and assistants, including the director and founder of the "Kvartal-95" studio, Serhiy Shefir. Also dismissed were Oleg Ustenko, Serhiy Trofymov, Mykhailo Radutsky, as well as Advisor Alina Verbitskaia, the "Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Protection of Ukraine's Defenders," and Natalia Bushkaryova, the "Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Volunteer Activities."
