U.S. Treasury Announces Sanctions Related to the West Bank

The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced in a statement today, Friday, that the United States has imposed sanctions on two entities that it said assisted in raising funds for two extremist settlers who committed acts of violence in the West Bank. The men are Yinon Levi and David Shay Shasday, and the United States imposed separate sanctions on them on February 1. The department stated that the entities collected a total of $171,000 for the two men.
