The company stated in a conversation with the Russian news agency "Novosti" that "MSC is the commercial operator of the container ship MSC Aries, responsible for all ship activities, including commercial shipping operations and maintenance." The company noted that "the ship is owned by Gortal Shipping Inc as the funding entity and has been leased under a long-term contract to MSC," explaining that Gortal Shipping Inc is affiliated with Zodiac Maritime. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced today, Saturday, the seizure of a ship linked to Israel in the Hormuz Strait.
