Three people were killed on Sunday evening due to an explosion followed by a fire in a building in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. French media reported that "a fire claimed the lives of three people on Sunday evening in a building on Charon Street." It was clarified that "according to preliminary information, a loud explosion was heard early in the evening, the source of which is unknown, before a fire broke out on the seventh floor of an eight-story building located on Charon Street." Additionally, "a person jumped from a window of the building to escape the flames, and while firefighters attempted to revive him, he succumbed to his injuries immediately. Two charred bodies were also found in the affected apartment." The police stated that "an investigation has been opened to uncover the circumstances of the incident, and the causes remain unknown at this time."
