Yuri Borisov, the head of the Russian space agency "Roscosmos," stated that "Russia is working on creating a modern rocket of the Angara-A5M type capable of launching a manned spacecraft, with plans to launch it in 2027." He mentioned in remarks reported by television: "A modern Angara-A5M rocket with a more powerful propulsion system is already being developed at the order of Roscosmos." He added, "It is expected to become the main means of launching the next generation of manned spacecraft and modules into orbit." Borisov's remarks were made during an online meeting chaired by President Vladimir Putin.
