Alejandra Marisa Rodríguez, a 60-year-old, has qualified for the Miss Argentina pageant due to her youthful appearance, after winning the title of Miss Buenos Aires, despite competing against dozens of younger women, according to Oddity Central.
The site reported yesterday that the Miss Universe competition became more inclusive at the end of last year by abolishing the minimum age requirement that had been in place since 1958.
Starting this year, the competition is no longer limited to women aged 18 to 28; the rules now state that contestants must only be of legal age to participate, opening the door for many more mature aspirants.
