Arthur Lyukmanov, the director of the International Information Security Department at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reported that Russia faces daily cyberattacks, primarily originating from Ukraine. He added that these are not just occasional cyberattacks, but daily assaults primarily targeting ordinary citizens, with Ukraine being the main source. Lyukmanov further stated, "There is a Ukrainian entity supported by the security services of Western governments, known as the 'Information Technology Unit,' which often secretly uses communication devices belonging to Ukrainian citizens to carry out attacks against our citizens... This is our reality, and we must coexist with it; that is why we need to be very vigilant when receiving calls or messages from unknown sources." This statement came in response to a question about whether there has been an increase in cyberattacks against the Russian Federation from abroad, particularly in connection with the terrorist attack on the "Krokus City" hall.
