An Israeli airstrike targeted a building in the town of Nabi Sheet - Baalbek this morning, Sunday, destroying it but causing no injuries. A security perimeter was established around the site to protect the local residents.
The eastern sector of southern Lebanon witnessed a night of intense Israeli assaults that continued into the early morning hours. In the Marjeyoun district, the Israeli army carried out heavy air raids on the towns of Khyam, Kfarkela, and Adaisseh, and targeted Hula, Wadi Saluki, the vicinity of Khyam, as well as the area around Deir Mimmas and the course of the Litani River with intense artillery shelling. Several injuries were reported, along with one fatality due to the airstrike on Khyam.
The skies over the eastern sector experienced heavy military aircraft activity and continuous drone flights, along with the interception of rockets. There was also an explosion of a rocket near the intelligence office in the town of Jadida Marjeyoun, with personnel miraculously escaping; the rocket caused severe material damage to the location and neighboring homes.
