Title: Rescue of Contractor from Kidnapping Attempt in Egypt

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed details of a crime that nearly occurred if it weren't for the timely intervention of security forces that prevented it. According to the details, while a security force from the Al-Nahda Police Station in Cairo was monitoring the security situation in the area, they heard cries for help coming from inside a "microbus" and screams. The security force intervened to investigate and found six individuals inside the vehicle who were taking turns beating another person and trying to restrain him.

The Ministry disclosed that the six individuals had kidnapped a contractor from the Al-Marj Police Station area in eastern Cairo, attempting to extort money from him and his acquaintances. The victim revealed that after being kidnapped, the perpetrators demanded that he contact one of his acquaintances to obtain a ransom of one million Egyptian pounds for his release.
