Following the armed attack at a concert hall near the capital Moscow, which resulted in over 40 deaths and a hundred injuries, Lebanese Ambassador to Russia Shouki Bou Nasar confirmed in a call with MTV that "the Lebanese embassy is of course monitoring what is happening at the Crocus City complex, which includes conference halls, celebration venues, theaters, and luxury shopping centers, and is considered one of the most important centers in Moscow despite being located about 25 kilometers from the city center." Bou Nasar noted that "so far, things remain very unclear due to the magnitude of the attack. The number of casualties and injured has not been definitively and accurately known." In response to a question about whether any injuries have been reported among the Lebanese community in Russia, Bou Nasar stated: "What I can confirm is that, at this moment, the embassy has not been informed of any injuries among the Lebanese present in Moscow. We will remain in constant communication with the relevant authorities to ensure there are no injuries among the community members."
