U.S. Central Command Announces Destruction of Houthi Drone Boat

The U.S. Central Command announced the destruction of a drone boat belonging to the Houthi movement "Ansar Allah" in Yemen. The command stated via "X": "On April 1, at 9 AM (Sana'a time), U.S. Central Command forces successfully destroyed a drone boat belonging to Iranian-backed terrorist Houthis as part of a self-defense measure." It added: "The drone boat posed an imminent threat to U.S. forces, coalition forces, and commercial vessels in the region." It indicated that "necessary measures are being taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer for U.S. and coalition vessels and commercial ships."
