Israel Conducts Large-Scale Military Exercise in Western Galilee

The Israeli army is conducting a major military exercise on Monday along the northern coast and in the western Galilee, in preparation for combat on multiple fronts. The Jerusalem Post reported that the military exercise will involve naval vessels, aircraft, and security forces throughout the region. The municipality of Maalot Tarshiha notified residents about the drill, stating that it is "part of improving readiness for emergency situations." The report also mentioned that the Nahariya municipality announced the training would include forces from the Israeli army, the Home Front Command, police, Magen David Adom, firefighting and rescue services, and the municipality itself. The military exercise was pre-planned as part of a strategy to enhance preparedness and mobilization for the Israeli army. The Israeli army stated on Sunday that it had completed another phase of preparations for a potential war on its northern front, where it has been exchanging fire with the Lebanese Hezbollah group for six months. In a statement titled "Preparing to Transition from Defense to Offense," the army noted that the completed phase focused on logistics "for the large-scale mobilization of the Israel Defense Forces."
