Scholz: We Will Not Send Our Troops to Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz emphasized that NATO will not become a party to the conflict, and that German troops will not be sent to Ukraine. He stated in a video message on the "X" platform: "NATO will not become a party to the conflict in Ukraine, and German troops will not be sent to Ukraine." He added, "NATO is not a party to the conflict, and will not become one, and it will remain so in the future. We do not want the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to turn into a war between Russia and NATO, and on that, we are united with all our strength." He affirmed: "I can say clearly: As Chancellor, I will not send any member of the German armed forces to Ukraine!"
