It was stated that "referee Mohamed Mufeed halted the match between Al-Hussein and Al-Ramtha on Friday in the Jordanian football league at Al-Hassan Stadium in Irbid due to the death of a fan of Al-Ramtha from a heart attack while watching the match from the stands." The family of Al-Hussein Club extended condolences to Al-Ramtha Club for the death of the fan "Ashraf Abu Yara" during the match between Al-Hussein and Al-Ramtha this evening. Additionally, it was noted: "The referee made the decision to suspend the match in the 77th minute with the score indicating Al-Hussein Irbid leading 5-0."
