Security Issues Warning About Palestinian Fraudster

The General Directorate of State Security issued the following statement: "As part of the efforts undertaken by the General Directorate of State Security to maintain security and stability, a patrol from the Tyre regional office arrested a Palestinian (F.A.B.) after information was received indicating he was involved in acts of fraud and deception." It added, "During the investigation, the detainee confessed to misleading his victims by claiming he could secure the release of prisoners through his connections with certain judges, and that he could arrange for the release of their detainees in exchange for obtaining large sums of money for the benefit of judges and some officials." The statement continued, "The General Directorate of State Security is circulating his image and requests that any citizens who have fallen victim to his fraud contact the Tyre office at the numbers: 71924689 and 07741583. He has been referred to the competent authorities based on the direction of the public prosecutor in the south, Raheef Ramadan."
