The Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Deryan, affirmed that "the institutions of Dr. Muhammad Khaled represent beacons of goodness amidst the many beacons of goodness shining in our country's sky, illuminating the darkness in our society. They are the fundamental basis for building communities, nations, and states; individuals and institutions may come and go, but they remain to continue the life journey. Our role is to establish institutions, and our Islamic community is pioneering, strong, generous, and insightful." He added: "We are all required to continue supporting our institutions and accompanying them, and to stand in solidarity with them so that our lives may be straightened, our society may be rectified, and we may have a community of goodness, security, peace, and justice." This statement was made during his sponsorship of the annual Iftar banquet organized by Dr. Muhammad Khaled's social institutions affiliated with the Dar al-Fatwa at the Institutions Hall in Ouzai. The event was held under the patronage of the Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Deryan, and attended by the Minister of Health in the caretaker government, Firas Al-Abyad, representing the Prime Minister, the Chief Druze Judge Faisal Nasr Al-Din representing the Sheikh of the Druze community, as well as representatives from former Prime Ministers, current and former ministers and deputies, and political, judicial, social, and media figures, along with heads of Islamic associations.
