At least 14 people have lost their lives in the Balochistan province in southwestern Pakistan and the Punjab province in the east due to heavy rains and storms that struck the regions. According to "Geo News," 4 people died in several areas of Balochistan after strong winds and storms hit the province, with two deaths caused by lightning and two others due to electrocution after a light pole fell on them. In Punjab, 10 people were killed, including 3 children and 2 women, in various cities and regions due to lightning. Officials in Balochistan indicated that "heavy rains have caused flooding in some areas, destroying at least 15 homes." Pakistani meteorological authorities expect more heavy rain to come.
