Rome today hosted the first meeting of the foreign ministers of the G7 major industrialized nations under Italian presidency, dedicated to discussing international crises including the Gaza war, the situation in the Red Sea, and the Russia-Ukraine war. This meeting is taking place on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in southern Germany and will be opened by Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani "with a discussion on the crisis in the Gaza Strip and its effects in the Middle East." The second part of the meeting "will be open to the participation of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, where the discussion will focus on the Russian aggression against Ukraine and the G7's continued support for Kyiv."
