Member of the "Democratic Gathering" bloc, MP Wael Abu Faour, received the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Joanna Fronszka, where they discussed local and regional situations. He noted, "It is clear that the Israeli enemy is seeking a war in Lebanon due to the deadlock of its crimes in occupied Palestine," considering that "the national responsibility requires a responsible stance to remove its pretexts through the implementation of resolution 1701, which preserves the sovereignty of Lebanon and the safety of its people, especially those from the south." Abu Faour emphasized that "the international community is required to exert more pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop its ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people."
