Title: Europe Accounts for 68% of Turkey's Car Exports

EU countries accounted for 67.9% of Turkey's car exports during the first quarter of this year. According to a report by Anadolu Agency based on data from the Uludağ Automotive Exporters' Association, Turkey's car exports reached markets in over 190 countries and regions worldwide during the first three months of 2024. During this period, Turkey's car exports recorded a growth of 6.1% compared to the same period last year, totaling a value of 9 billion, 132 million, and 431 thousand dollars. Car exports represented 14.3% of Turkey's total exports in the first quarter of 2024. EU countries topped the list of the largest importers of cars from Turkey, amounting to 6 billion, 108 million, and 213 thousand dollars, which corresponds to 67.9% of the sector's total exports. Germany ranked first with an amount of 1 billion, 264 million dollars.
