Pope Francis: Increase Aid to Gaza and Free Hostages

Pope Francis called on Sunday for immediate care for the wounded in Gaza, ensuring the protection of civilians, as well as providing more humanitarian aid to the region and releasing hostages held by Hamas. In his weekly sermon, the Pope stated, "If the weapons stop, the conflict will not escalate," urging for "much more" humanitarian assistance for Gaza. He added, "Enough... Enough, my brothers, enough." He continued by expressing his closeness to all who are suffering, whether they are Palestinians or Israelis, and mentioned that he is praying for them.
