The Kremlin denied on Thursday the accusations from the United States regarding Russian forces in Ukraine violating the international ban on chemical weapons. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated to journalists that "Moscow complies with its obligations under the treaty that prohibits chemical weapons." Washington accused Moscow on Wednesday of violating the treaty by deploying chloropicrin, which causes choking, against Ukrainian forces and using other riot control agents as a "method of warfare" in Ukraine.
